Splash guards

For those who got the splash guards I have a question. Are you confident that they will deflect enough debris to avoid having to put a film like Xpel on the rocker panels?

It depends on where you live ...here in Florida yes, enough protection
if you're on a backcountry road , no way
They are made more for appearance , than protection

I drove my car for about three weeks without them. Once I put them on, my car did not get anywhere near as dirty. Worth it in my opinion.

Easy, fronts need a rivet gun.

I was stupid and let my dealership install them. They did them incorrectly.

Thanks folks. I may go ahead and not put the Xpel covering on the rocker panels now as it seems the splash guards may do the job.

I have them on my car. They look sharp.
Here in Cleveland, we've had some crappy weather, snow, salt, ice.
Yes, they do deflect a lot of debris, salt, etc.,, from actually getting to the car. I'm very happy I got them installed!

They put both the actual guard and the black piece that is supposed to go behind the fender well on the outside.
