We will probably have to weight for pricing and performance data.

Maybe the 285/305 setup we have seen a few times, and I too HOPE it's these wheels (pic attached). As I like them enough that I wouldn't even swap them out for aftermarket ones.

Different spoiler and splitter. Don't see any bodywork changes besides that on the 1LE, I will save that for the next Zxx. Agree. Agree, thinking 3:91. Agree. Similar thoughts as mine, but a few differences. I would also think some type of 1LE badging this time around. I would love to see some sort of suede seat insert option on the cloth seats too... |

I think PDR has a good chance of being in the package.
Recaros will probably be an option. I don't see GM doing a rear seat delete.

6 piston front calipers should certainly be included, given that the Mustang GT PP has them. Were the wheels on the 5G 1LE and ZL1 forged? |

I think those brakes may bump the price up too high? I was thinking maybe larger rotors, same calipers... Different spoiler and splitter. Don't see any bodywork changes besides that on the 1LE, I will save that for the next Zxx. [QUOTE=Bhobbs;8877742]Monotube dampers, stiffer springs, sways and bushings. Quote:
I'm thinking the brakes will be covered by not having to change out the transmission.

A lot of people seem to want the 1LE to be as hardcore as the Z/28 was, but that's the whole point of the Z/28 (now; it used to be different), to be the most hardcore, the Z/28 will be the 350R challenger, let the 1LE have a different purpose

Group 2 just wants the 1LE to remain what it is and always has been. Thankfully, I am quite sure GM is in the second group, and that's why the SS is on offer for group 1.

That being said, and as you mentioned, it seems the hype from the 5th Gen is creating a LOT of buzz and they really could make more money if they dilute the 1LE to cater to more buyers. I just hope they don't!

The concept of badging and identity was something they were asking about at past CamaroFests..."Do you think it needs a badge"...in my opinion, I said yes - the car has such a reputation now as a performer, a badge would be pretty neat. Yes. Quote:
Consider that the Mag Ride option is already there. Depending on *how* different Chevy performance chooses to go with 1LE suspension tuning, the Mag Ride option might still be available...because after all, every 1LE starts life as an SS. So why not? However, the last generation 1LE did not change the car's ride-height, BUT...if you look real closely at spy pictures and videos, it appears that the car is lower to the ground than a stock SS. This could be my eyes playing wishful tricks on me...though, if that's the case, Mag Ride will almost certainly not be an available option when "1LE" is equipped. If this is the case, folks who must desperately have MagRide will almost certainly be able to get an SS equipped with the magic shocks, and modify it's base suspension components, wheels, and brakes, etc to get closer to a 1LE's level of performance. Food for thought...You really can't loose... |

The reason the 1LE didn't have MRC as an option was because neither did the SS, it was to keep MRC special for the ZL1.
