I can't imagine springs and bars like the Eibach's I have on my 5th Gen will be anywhere near $1500. I have had zero issues with mine and love them. Got an alignment after they were installed and have had perfect tire wear.

Is this set for the MRC equipped cars, also?

It is $1500, but it's springs, struts and shocks...as of now you can't just buy the springs.

Yeah, but the nice thing about the GM setup is that it is springs and shocks/struts and keeps the entire factory warranty in place. No need to worry about them blaming the suspension on something. Just an option to consider.

He did not mention MRC, just the regular suspension package. I've also had Eibach on several rides and I'll see which one arrives first. Loved them on my G8. I do have the BMR's on my 15, little rough ride in the rear. Remember the 16 does not have struts on the back, coils and shocks, struts on the front. The rear has way to much gap for me stock.
