Paint prob? Whats your VIN?

It seems if we start looking at when these cars were built in the production schedule we might be able to figure out when this paint thing started and stopped, if it has stopped. My car is very good, and I really know what to look for. The only OP problem I have, is a mild case on the rear trunk lid, which I'll take care of pretty soon.

my VIN LAST 5 is 23704.

Dave, Sledge....are your numbers way before mine?

I guess there aren't a lot of paint problems, which is a good thing. Just my luck that I would get one of the few. The sad part is everything else about this car seems to be perfect. I haven't experienced any of the other issues I've read about.

I didn't have any issues, even if I did I am sure the uber special QC mine went through fixed it. I don't think ldejavul has had any issues and his vin is pretty low.

I have 117983. The only paint "issue" I have is the Hyper Blue bumper being a darker shade than the metallic body. It is damn noticeable now that I have realized it is there; but before reading about it on the forum I can honestly say I wasn't checking/nor did I notice.

Yea, I didn't notice until the forums pointed it out, but now I see it on every picture.

All the gen 5 with Red Jewell Tint paint the doors looked like a different color in a lot of different types of light.

33218 here. No issues I see. All jambs, and nooks fully painted. My bumpers are very close to matching steel body panels.

127872... Both of my bumpers on my Hyper Blue Metallic are darker than the body of the car. Dealer called me today and said they will be repainting and blending both of my bumpers with the adjacent panels. This has me nervous to say the least......
