Emblem Delete
Does anybody know how to remove the front Chevy Emblem from a 2016 lt?

What emblem? The rear just buy the 3m emblem removal spray from autozone and emblem will fall off after a few minutes. The front is attached.

The one thats on the grille, can I simply take it off or would I have to replace the grille?

If you never plan on putting the front one off you can just break the latch on the bowtie and it'll come off. Keep in mind, not only does it "click" into place but it is also has an adhesive patch on it. So... You can either grab the 3m emblem removal spray from autozone or use a heat gun/hair dryer to loosen up the glue then use dental floss or fishing line to remove the glue then break the tab behind the bowtie.
DO NOT PRY WITH A SCREW DRIVER like my dealership did. |

I did this today, a small trim tool used to pry on one end popped it loose with no effort. Replaced with black badge. No adhesive on either badge. Snaps in place.

Smoked mine with Plasi Dip "smoke" dark out but will put pics on tomorrow, Did Black on bowtie......works just fine....
