At least yours is close by. Tomorrow is 2 months since built and still in michigan and 1 1/2 weeks sitting bayed at a rail yard ready to leave which in the time bayed 1 train did leave to Dallas and I was not on it.

I sold my car and got a rental. Mine better not sit at the rail yard for 2 weeks! Will eat most of the price difference selling privately vs trade in value.

Looks like I'll be harassing customer service until my car arrives. I've got everything ready to go and I'm ready to sign.

It appears it's just the rail yard in Mesquite, TX that services the Dallas/FT Worth me tropez and most of North Texas is sitting on the camaros. My dealer has 4 lt models with one of them sitting there for roughly 2 weeks now.

I'm sorry you are having to deal with that. The QC hold sucks and I feel bad for those guys - understand their frustration with the lack of communication.

But, the car being delivered to the local rail yard and just sitting there for no damn reason would really piss me off. Bet that it is a backlog and that they are behind on on expected deliveries.

Edit: Ohh god I just read back. You might get stuck in both the QC hold and stuck at the Texas rail yard? I think I would just start looking for any available inventory.

WHOO-HOO!! My car showed up today at the dealership! Since I am out of the country, once they get back to me on specifically what is needed paperwork wise a family member is going to pick it up for me. Cant wait to get back home in March to have it myself.

The delay in DFW from the rail yard is pretty ridiculous. At this point, it has to be an issue with the dispatching there at the yard. They either don't have enough trucks to handle the amount of cars there or they have idiots in charge of getting the cars scheduled and shipped. My money is on the first since no Camaros have made to the DFW dealers from the rail yard yet.

FYI, here's what the Mesquite rail yard normally looks like. I'd love to see what it looks like right now.

I thought that I might be able to drive out to try to find my car at a railyard in Portland yesterday. Wasted a good hour and a half with no luck. Saw a yard with a few thousand Hyundai's and found the Ford lot. Couple of lots I couldn't figure out how to get to.

Check this out! I had no idea.

I am told my car is at 4200 after being 4b00 for weeks. Hopefully that is good news. Also got a message from the general manager to call him regarding the 'wheel situation'. We'll see what happens. Pretty tired at this point.

Just found out my car hit 4800 status..... it's sitting in one of those huge parking lots up above!

next few days I should be behind the wheel of my new camaro!
