Think I could put a rear facing seat behind the passenger? My wife is tiny. 5'. I would only use it 10-15 times a year. Just curious if it will work

Possible deal breaker for me. While my car is mainly a weekend car, there have been plenty of times that I have needed all the rear seat and trunk space I could get. The reduced trunk space could be dealt with perhaps, but not the reduced rear seat room.

LOL who buys a Camaro for carrying 4 adults? Get an SS if you need the backseat room. Little kids love the Camaro backseats.

Yup! My two little sisters loved it. The oldest one kept telling me to buy it haha I told her I already ordered one. She was smiling from ear to ear

It's about compromise. Maybe the 6th gen gave up too make practicality for some.

Nice pics...enjoy it while they can still fit...!!!

Golf clubs are a must....If you like to golf, and can't carry clubs, the car is worthless...lol...If you don't golf, it's impossible to understand the concern...lol...

I think we are seeing why the front seats only "recline" as far as they do....to make sure a rear seat passenger doesn't get squished...

Good pics....

Completely missing the point.

I have an SS. I had desperately hoped GM would make a truly great coupe that would make me want to get rid of the SS. That doesn't mean driving to Florida with 4 adults. It means heading out to dinner or a quick trip you COULD get 4 adults in the car. In the Gen5 you could, did it many times. In a Gen6? That was a trade off GM publicly stated they made.

For a lot of people this won't matter. For me and some others it will.

And to repeat myself again, my concern is that GM took tooo much practicality from the car. By their own admission and publicized data, they made the trunk MUCH smaller, they made the rear seat tighter.

For most of the people that care enough about cars and particularly the Camaro and regularly come to this awesome website, that likely won't matter. But for some it will.

Do I think the Camaro gets back to 90,000 maybe 100,000 units per year once production is under way and the cool factor wears off? Yes.

Do I think it can sell 150,000 units like the Mustang has? Not really sure about that.

And the FEAR? The car sells like the 2000 to 2002 did. Awesome V8 sales, lackluster V6 sales annnnnnnnnd it's gone again.

My point for two plus years has been make a GREAT coupe first and then a Camaro. What they did was make a GREAT Camaro first and some things, important to me and some others, were traded away.

And this isn't an argument. GM did this, told us they did this, so the fact the car is smaller in the trunk and rear seat isn't up for debate. It's just a matter of whether that impacts sales or not. For me? It doesn't add up as a DD. Smaller Trunk, Smaller Rear Seat, Crappy visibility. All things that could have been made better on the Gen6 but weren't. Those 3 things are more important to me than weighing less than a Mustang.

And that, my friends, is one guys opinion.

It's a nod to the accepted bad-grammar and millennial misspelling that has by-passed any QC as acceptable....It's a cute nod to Chinese designers, and will be a hit with the four-banger crowd....

Not sure what Sun of Gun Grey is about, maybe for the spoiler? Thought this was just interesting...

I agree. What is the point of having seats if no one can sit on them? Of course, as this photo proves, a child can sit in the back. But if two short adults can't somewhat comfortably sit in the back, then that's a big con.

Sure, you won't be driving three passengers all the time, but having the capability to seat two extra in the back should be a plus. Might as well omit the back seats for cost-cutting measures since they're not going to be used.

Almost identical as the 4th gen, but my WS6 has way more head room in the back, prob due to the hatch. The WS6 is also about a foot longer, but the 6th gens wheel spacing is much further apart.

Putting your child in the back is great. Although those little legs would be crushed if I were driving. Need a corresponding pic of you not crushed against the IP, like I was which resulted in less space. Gathering from previous posts by others, if you are 5' 8" or so you can get the seat far enough forward to make some rear seat room. With me in my "comfortable" position, the rear seat was nearly touching the front. With my knees firmly into the IP, I had 3" of clearance tops.

My point is that with a Gen5 you could get 4 adults in the car in a pinch. Absolutely impossible in the Gen6 with me driving. Now let my wife drive at 5' 2" it would be workable. Or with her in the passenger seat an adult could fit behind her.

As you've done, you have to remove clubs to get them in the trunk. And somehow you managed to place them separately so the loose clubs could fit. My driver wouldn't fit in any way I tried when I pulled it from the bag.

In the picture with your wife's clubs in the trunk, is the seat up or down?

And yes, you can get a lot in there with the seat down but I don't want to drive around with the noise of the trunk with the rear seat down. It's just a hatch at that point.

But clearly it is workable..................just less than the Gen5 by a bunch.

It took my video years ago putting two bags in the Gen5 trunk with a CTF car to get people to believe and even then there were skeptics.

I'll try the clubs again, but I just couldn't get it to work with my small carry bag unless I either put the seat down or removed the driver and 3 wood and then those wouldn't fit.

Thanks for posting. More to think about. I can live with the rear seat room.............need 2 sets of the clubs in the trunk with the seat up to be my DD.
Happy to post another pic of me sitting in the car, I forgot to add I'm 6' 1". My knees are not hitting the IP. As for the golf clubs, I had to stick driver in outside of the bag, the rear seats where up for both photo's.

nice to know about the golf clubs, with my 15 I have to take my driver out of the bag to get the set in the trunk.
