The most dramatic change for this Gen, is that everything about it has dramatically changed....up-grades and improvements for the better in all areas...

+1. The Alpha platform is the biggest and most needed improvement. LS3 -> LT1 is exciting. As well as technology (media interface). |

Yes, it is. It's actually more different than Challenger's interior you compare it to. You need to see your eye doctor and get a much stronger prescription for your glasses. |

SpeedIsLife, are you a 5th gen owner BUT not a 6th gen acceptor? Chevrolet had to improve on the 5th gen, they just had to. Not taking anything away from the 5th gen. It was an awesome machine. No doubt about it. It brought back the Camaro name and all the branding that goes along with it. The pony car wars were once again ON. And the Camaro has beaten the mustang in sales every year since 2010 up until 2014.

To finish my thought, times change and even you have to admit it was time the Camaro got a makeover. Like Al Oppenheiser has said, they asked Camaro owners what they wanted in the 6th gen, and Camaro owners spoke, do not mess with the overall look of the car, which they really didn't they made it more sporty. As far as the interior is concerned, even a car buff like yourself has to admit that the interior and the cabin NEEDED an upgrade!!!!!!

Wow....that interior is hideous! Im not bias because this will be my 1st serious car but the 6g Camaro has by far the best interior imo. I never liked the 5th gens interior either.

The most dramatic change/improvement: They got rid of the 2/tone mismatched
paint look at the door to 1/4 panel...... Good job designers/engineers.

"improvement" is relative.
I like them both, the 6 is tighter than the 5 with less room to move around. The only thing that they "fixed" is placement of the cupholder.... That is one of my pet peeves because we're always driving to work with two coffee mugs. Of course, if you're the passenger, you're still SOL, but that's not my problem. Other than that.. yeah. they look different. |

The Alpha platform is what has me considering moving up from my 5th Gen. It fixes all the compromises made to bring the Camaro back using the Zeta platform. Mine's a '10 so the bump in tech is to be expected. The increase in power is nice too but we add plenty of that anyways at my work so it won't stay stock for long in any case.
