No it's actually a drivers race with a new GT. Maybe .2 quicker on average

I have a hard time believing the 11.3-4 of the stingray. Also some trapping over 120.

I suspect a tune on some of these internet hero times. If the vette times are legit this damn car might go 11.7. Loaded z51 vettes are 3450 lbs.

I wonder how much it costs nowadays. I haven't gone in probably 5 years.
They must have decent prep some of the time. Atco and or englishtown always post the quickest times.

I have Milan dragway about an hour from me. Elevation is around 800 feet I think. It's a pretty fast track. Not like atco or etown though...

How interesting the Mustang guys keep leaving off the fact that the LT1 makes a lot more torque...

The guys on the S550 forum are in complete denial mode, they don't believe the 12.10-12:30s times that have been posted for the Camaro because their cars are 12:80-13:00 machines. Hell the GT350s ran today with tune, and DRs only got a 12:10 last I read. Give that tune and DR combo to a A8 Camaro and watch what happens.

As they continue to argue about ringers and weight the Camaro is laying the smack down on the track. I just wish the new Camaro didn't look like it does , Give me the LT1 and the A8 in a 15 1LE and I would be great.

Last I saw, per SVTP, the track was running a little slow. Best was 11.9... but the e85 tune was trapping 123, and the stock tune with DR's trapped 121, so the power is definitely there. Very impressive actually. Can't expect the best numbers to come out in week 1.

They had a 10-17 mph tail wind. That coupled with not hooking up will make for good trap speeds. The 11.9 pass on DR showed a 116 trap.

Looks like a regular 350 on street tires will need a pro driver on his game to beat an auto SS.

A standard 350 vs SS is a better race than SS vs GT. Kinda funny.

I would agree that a SS is closer to the base 350 than the GT.

I keep wondering what they are going to do to the mustang refresh to make it perform on par with the new camaro. I then realize there is no way they are going to make the mustang gt perform better or on par with the gt350.

The GT350 is trapping 123 with an E85 tune already?
You got a link to that?

I feel myself being consumed by the dark side

Must be related to this I found

That's what was mentioned on SVTP. I was not there, there was no video posted.
