People here talk smack about fords, people there talk smack about Camaro's. they both talk smack about mopars.

I laugh because they are all ~12 second cars now and pretty fun to drive. None of them are slow, none of them are crap but on the internet one is cool and the other sucks depending on which way you are bias.

I'm just glad that I live in an era where the muscle car wars reign again, and are going full throttle moving forward kinda like back in the 60's and 70's. Whether it's a Camaro, mustang, challenger or vette. They are all proud beasts in their own right with their own engineers trying to top one another.

There's no way a fully broken in LS7 makes that much power! IT IS A TUNED CAR. Motor (I mean Chevy) Trend did an entire test at Laguna Seca of the 6th gen SS vs GT and it had to be dropped because the GT outperformed the SS!

I think that forum as a whole is probably pretty great. Love how they have had a constant flow of new things on the home page just about every day.

But their vs. threads (anything Camaro related) are full of their worst bunch, and those guys are the worst I've ever seen in my 10+ years of forum hopping.

In reality, if just a few of those members went away, it would make all the difference.

This ^ other mustang sites I am on, dont even want to be associated with some of those members on 6g. That is one of the worst sites I have seen and mostly just a few members are just so far out there.

Every brand specific forum has a loud minority that are shitposters. Just gotta laugh and ignore them. Or poke them, that's always fun.

I agree. I'm from Wichita KS as well and I always have someone trying to race me or something when I'm driving my 03 Cobra. I had a v6 Camaro with blue underbody? lights try to race me last night. You could tell he floored it by the way the engine sounded but he didn't go anywhere very quickly. I thought way to make Camaro owners look bad.

Yeah Camaro5 does have that rep, but 6G is a whole lot worse.

Why even make this thread? Who cares what they say, anyone hating on another car isn't a real car person. The mustang, challenger, and camaro are all fast and fun cars to drive! Get what you like and enjoy it. I love all performance cars, any make or model. I meet a guy with a supercharged FRS the other day in a walmart parking lot, down to earth guy we both complimented each others cars and spoke for a good 10 minutes.

Look at these 3 amazing cars below. We should all be happy that American Muscle cars have come this far! In the mid 70-90s american performance cars were horrible, look at us now !

All of the Camaro threads are started by non S550 owners who are considering the Camaro or just trying to stir the pot. The 3 I see over there were started by a Ford Explorer, 02 GT, and Honda Civic. Idk why they decided to post on 6g rather than camaro6, they know it's going to be a shit storm.

I'm actually on both forums and I see the negative sides on both. I love both cars and have had both. I know I need to change my avatar which I'm in the middle of doing. Hopefully once I get settled with a new house I'll be able to have both! Fingers crossed.! Till then I'll just be envious..

I was lucky enough to get a 15 Mustang as a rental in Rochester NY last month. The V6 version. Even as a Camaro guy I thought it was an awesome car and had so many merits. The rivalries are dumb to me. They're all great cars, but the Camaro is my favorite of course.
