Good news to me. Since I'll be leasing will definitely want to do something similar

The PDF has a part number that just says its for the decals. But it also has a * and a note that says "*Available in select colors and finishes. Unavailable in color or finish shown on concept vehicle. See dealer for details.". So not sure.

For some odd reason I would love to see the white sema car in blue. I think the blue black and red will surprisingly go well together. Too bad you can't get the red interior in the blue car. Anyone else out there think this may look good?

The dovetail is so vastly superior I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes the 2017 SS default spoiler. I think they've been listening and know just how much that wing repulsed a lot of people. The rear actually looks really good now. The wing made a mess of things, caused a way too busy design. The lines under the tail lights fit so much better with the dovetail. The SS profile is way better now also. Dovetail!!

If it provides as much downforce as they say it does, it might have too much affect on mpg.

That's just silly imo. Do something that catches the eye more like better nose/rims/hood/tips/vents not some crappy stripes where they don't belong.

Yes, I care about gas mileage in a 455hp 8cyl.

Doubtful, as the downforce it generates isn't going to come into effect at normal speeds...Spoilers and wings and such usually don't do anything until about 100 mph.

I agree! Do we think it's large enough to cover the holes created by the factory SS spoiler in the trunklid?

You might not care, but GM does. Or else skip shift and active fuel management wouldn't exist.

The spoiler might not do as much at highway speeds, but it is doing something. Every small aerodynamic improvement counts for mpg, avoiding the gas guzzler tax, and contributing to the overall CAFE average for the brand.
