Wow, snow already?

We got just under 33000 miles from this set of tires.

Rained off and on almost all day today, so I did not cruse anywhere. We went out to dinner and, when we turned home, it just stopped raining. So I wiped down the Impala while it was wet and applied some Buttery Wax. Looks nice at night. Hope it looks nice during the day.

Frost you say??? We usually don't see frost late November / early December. It's 57 here this morning which is unusually cold for us this time of year.

Good morning. Movie night was fun but very cold. I was glad for once that I over prepared. I ended up putting sweat pants over my jeans, a sip hoodie over my sweater followed by my Camaro coat, scarf, gloves & a big thick blanket. Then I had to get up & get a beach towel out of the car to put under me on my chair because my back side was cold. In the end only my nose & feet got really uncomfortable. Good food & good friends, good times. I'll post up some pics later.

Over The Hill Gang , Old Farts with Young Cars

Yeah it looks like summers over here too. Today the high 47, brrrrr that's cold. Yesterday it was 57, not bad.

I stopped at Dunkin Donuts and they have a Tesla Super Station so there was a Tesla charging and I went over to check it out. Very nice guy, I jumped in the passenger seat and he gave me the tour.

The computer screen is HUGE. Like two iPads. It has a map of every station, the next closest was 45 miles. At full charge the car goes about 300 miles. And no charge/free to fill.

So I guess you could drive cross country and pay nothing, although at times you may have to go out of your way to find a station. But they keep adding more and more.

This particular Super Station is right off the hi-way. Takes about 20 minutes from empty to full. Enough time to have a coffee and stretch your legs.

Crazy the technology today. The car does just about everything. Internet, so you can surf the web, monitors and calculates energy use, pretty impressive.

Anyway, when I jumped back on the hi-way I forgot about it only being 56/57 out. My tires, still cold, didn't like me throwing down the power. As I revved up 1st gear to only 5,000 RPMs and when I shifted into second I floored it. Caught me by surprise. I spun those tires, must of been doing close to 50, and all the bells and whistles started flashing.

I just kept the power on and looked where I wanted the car to go! I happened to be changing lanes as I floored it, so when the wheels started spinning there was a little extra sideways action.

Oh Yeah, that's a quick adrenaline shot! Yahoooooo!

I do. Summer Only. Super sticky in temps 70+. Loose as a goose 50s and 40s. 44 today, damn Canadian cold front, so the tire pressure never got above 34 pounds. Started at 32 like always, but in warm temps they quickly warm up and pressure stays around 36-38.

When the tire pressure rises that hi, I know I can go into a turn at Crazy Speeds! They stick like glue.

Oh, and the problem has been fixed, I can post pics once again!

It only got up to 87* here today.

Thinking about replacing my old IPad 2. Anyone have a recommendation for a real good replacement?

I visited daddy yesterday. I helped feed him. He ate okay. Still trying to talk a little. Still coughing a good bit. They want to put him on hospice care. We still have no results from his scan.

Good morning. Just not liking these early mornings. Cold too. Brrrrrrrrrrrr! Sure did not want to get out of my warm bed. Have a good Monday crew.

I am so psyched!!!!! I got done with work early & headed over to the Y thinking I'd do some track time or weights before my dance/exercise class and low & behold there have started having a belly dancing class before my class & I did 3/4 of it today before also doing my regular class. I have always wanted to learn belly dancing! The class is pretty killer too! I can't wait to get my belly bells & start taking the class every Monday that I possibly can! Wooooo Hooooo!!!!!!!

Wednesday the club will meet up at the Lane Motor Museum to see the new Camaros & meet with some of the Chevy execs. This is going to be a good week.

The downer is that they are wanting to put daddy on Hospice care but we are going to wait to hear from his scan before deciding about that. We know it is coming; just a matter of when.
