I believe the big one is the downstream side of the auxiliary radiator, and it also cools the brakes. The small one is for aerodynamics to reduce drag around the wheel wells.

I'm also surprised by the valves in the exhaust for AFM operation. I'm guessing the manual wouldn't have these.
The valves are in place regardless of transmission, the valves are what create the adjustable exhaust modes.

vtirocz was referencing the AFM exhaust valve, which is on Auto v6/v8 cars only. It helps cut down the drone when in 4 cylinder mode, the corvette uses this as well... the valve is shown here:

ALPHA's and ZETA

2016 Camaro SS, 2016 ATS-V, 2016 CTS V and a 2012 ZL1 for a comparison of the undersides of each chassis setup.

Done. I also noticed that the Cadillac's all come with an X pipe instead of an H pipe like on the Camaro.

Nice work.

To me it seems the 6th gen has far more in common in underbody with the ATS than the CTS based on those pics. I agree that it is still unique but there is definitely no way to say it is more CTS than ATS.

The exhaust coupler for the Camaro is closer to the cats for easier header with cats or off-road pipe install as compared to the Cadillac's coupler which is near the rear axle. This will be an easier task for sure.

I think the underside looks great, and pretty clean. Many will complain about the muffler size (and I'm fairly certain it is that size across ALL models and transmissions) but really I believe it is that size and shape b/c of air flow purposes. We aren't sure how much stuff is packed in there, so it might not be as heavy as we'd imagine. That said, guys dumping stock exhaust and going with minimal mufflers, or deletes will lose a fair amount of weight.

I've ordered NPP, so it will be staying that way on my car. I may paint it a high temp flat black though.

I might work with my ex brother-n-law to see if he can fit the NPP on a custom.exhaust if I think it is too quiet. He runs a hot rod shop.

I am curious the weight if that assy, but I know its design is such as to improve aero. Im REALLY curious what The top speed is going to be on this car.? GM is putting a lot of effort into the aero(though, good aero also helps with fuel economy).
