If you add option to option, the G6 and GT are less the $500 apart.

Probably afraid it won't even come close to the old GT500's times.

Normally, I'd agree with you, but with the times the ATS-V has been putting out... I think your numbers are a little high for the 6th gen.

The comment from Randy P saying "The corvette doesn't put the power down like this Caddy, the Corvette guys need to get with the Caddy and guys about this" says a lot about the 0-60 Times....Power+Lightweight=traction problems lol.

I agree with xgnxs the numbers are too high.

1. The ATS weighs much more, makes similar HP but lower TQ.
2. The times most mags have for the C7 are M7 times. As far as I have been able to find, the only A8 1/4 mile time by a mag was for a convertible and it ran 12.2 and it weighed 3506lbs according to C&D (3LT with Z51).
3. If the ATS-V sedan can best(or at least match) the time of that C7 vert, we can assume the weight isn't playing as big a factor as one normally thinks. Must be other factors influencing the 1/4 mile times.
4. My guess if one of the mags took an A8 Z51 C7 coupe and ran it, it would be in the 11.9-12.0 range.

I'm still sticking with 12.4 mag times for now for the A8 due to tires. Put the ATS-V tires on it and don't see why 12.1 wouldn't be achievable.

Just when I think some of those guys can't get anymore retarded/childish/ in denial they turn around and just up the ante.

It is truly sad. I'm almost starting to feel sorry for them. They are literally looking like complete idiots to the rest of the world.

I've been on and off the forum scene for over ten years and I've never seen anything like this. What in the hell is going on?

Great logic from SuperSound. I agree 12.4 and 12.1 with a tire upgrade.

I'm a bit surprised current Mustang GT Lightning lap time posted was not closer to the 1LE time. I would expect both 6 Gen 1SS and 2SS with options or not to better the current mustang LL time.

I was just doing a Vette build, and on the LT1 engine shows 455hp. Then when you add the NPP, it says it bumps hp to 460. Is there any reason why the Camaro NPP won't do the same? I'm sure that 5 hp boost is in track mode as it's the most free flowing.

4.4_4.5 0-60
12.5-12.7 1/4 is my guess for the SS

V6 RS
5.4 to 60
13.4 in the quarter
