Fuel Economy

The 2016 Cadillac ATS fuel economy #s are out and it's probably a good indication of what the 1lt/2lt Camaro's will be:

3.6 8A: 20/30 (up from 18/28 w/ 6A)
2.0T 8A: 22/31(up from 21/30 w/ 6A)
2.0T 6M: 20/29

For what it's worth, the 2016 Corvette get's the following:
8A: 16/29
7M: 17/29

I think you're very close, but maybe both auto and manual would get 16/26.

Good point, I'm just hoping for a little Magic on that City number.

I wonder how the 3.6 will do in actual straight freeway trips. I mean, it has AFM and an 8 speed auto for crying out loud. It should be hitting a couple ticks or more over 30.

Hoping for magic is about as optimistic as you can get. If the 2016 SS isn't rated at 16 mpg, its waaaaaay more likely to be 15 than 17.

On the highway, I'm thinking 26 (possibly 27) on the auto & 25 for the manual.

On the flip side though, I would imagine it turns out to be a little thirstier in the city than the EPA says.
