Question about 1SS interior.

Hi folks, a few questions that I seem to be getting mixed answers on.

1- What does the 1SS get as far as color screens? Does only the 2SS get the reconfigurable cluster, or so does the 1SS? What about the middle screen, that is smaller, but still has the same content?

2-Do you have to get those gray stripes on the seats, or they a option?

3-Are the colored knee pads and extra cost option, or included?

Thanks!

1. From what I see in the customizer on Chevy's website, it looks like the 1SS gets both 8" screens (the one between the gauges and the infotainment screen). So basically the same as the 2SS.

2. Yes the gray stripes on the seats are part of the black interior.

3. The customizer also shows that you can get colored knee pads with cloth interior (I didn't think you could), but they are an optional extra

but you don't have the bells and whistles of the 2ss drivers screen, in reality i don't think there is much that you can do beside change the views.

There is a pic in the brochure of the 1ss interior. it's a small screen in the cluster, like the GM trucks, and a 7" screen for a radio. It's still nice, just not as nice.

It is outlined in the order guide...the 8" configurable drivers display is standard on the 1SS. FEAR NOT PEOPLE.

1SS standard Equipment:

- IO5 Chevrolet MyLink Radio with 8" diagonal color touch-screen, AM/FM stereo with seek-and-scan and digital clock, includes Bluetooth streaming audio for music and select phones; voice-activated technology for radio and phone; featuring Apple CarPlay capability for compatible phone.

- UQ3 6-speaker system.

- UHS enhanced, 8" diagonal multi-color re-configurable driver information display.

All from this: http://www.gmfleetorderguide.com/NAS...age=7&butID=16

There is a lot standard on 1SS. There are things that are 2SS only or optional on 1SS of course.

Yeah, I'm actually pretty sure that is a glitch on the website. If you start with a 1SS trim and then go to interior, you can see the small rectangle display and 2 physical gauges above it. If you start with 2SS and view interior, then change trim to the 1SS is still shows the 2SS interior. I'm pretty sure the 1SS doesn't come with the large 8 " driver display.

Not sure if this glitch is why you can also customize the knee pad option for 1SS but I'm hoping you would be able to regardless.

Are you sure, because the configurator also will show this as the 1SS dash (small screen and physical gauges).

It doesn't make sense that the SS models both get the highly upgraded dash. It makes more sense that the 2LT and 2SS do though.

I'm hoping I'm wrong...

When in doubt refer to the official ordering guide referenced a couple posts above. Sometimes the right hand (marketing) doesn't know what the left hand (manufacturing) is doing. From my experience, marketing is almost always wrong.

Link is to order guide standard equipment. 1SS and 2SS have standard, the RPO code UHS Driver Information Center, enhanced, 8" diagonal multi-color re-configurable display. Was mentioned above as well.
