Talking Below MSRP

Anyone on this forum who intends on buying a 2016 SS that will insist on a price below MSRP?

That's the only way I would buy one. If you're paying MSRP, you're getting ripped off.

Invoice is nearly always achievable, then you can use the credit union discount for an extra discount. On top of that, I wouldn't pay the marketing fees that dealers pay to participate in incentive programs.

Yep... When I bought my 2010 I had a tough time just getting msrp. It will be difficult the first year most likely.

I wonder why the OP both admits the advertising fees are part of the invoice but would not pay these fees? Is this a case of those who do not consider the destination charge a part of the invoice and insist they never pay it when buying a new car?

Well, here I am engaging in an invoice discussion. One would think I should have learned by now.

Good luck getting one under MSRP. Probably not gonna happen for a while after they go on sale.

I don't consider it the norm, and I feel lucky, but I am getting mine at Invoice, and if my credit union discount applies as well, that will be another $750 off.

I have my supplier discount that my dealer is taking, but already told my dealer that once pricing comes out I am going to show him MSRP/invoice/supplier, already told him invoice is going to less but he insists that supplier will be lower. Have bought a bunch of new vehicles from this dealer, plus tons of service and referrals, have already purchased invoice vehicles from them, plus the fact that supplier may not even be available right away from GM...so in other words looks like invoice for my order as well.
