Looks like rainy weather, the yellow will probably look better in sunny conditions.

That's the thing with many colors the light will have a great effect on how bright they look. And no Camera can do justice to what your eye can perceive. When you add Lighting, Camera error, and monitor error, who knows what the actual color will look like to you.

The correct term is color saturation not brightness. And yes, on average, comparing the sections of the car that look to be exposed to similar lighting (brightness) the mustang is more color saturated. No matter what section of the Camaro I sampled, the saturation level is lower, at least in those photos. The only fair comparison would be to see both indoors under controlled lighting, since outside, the spectrum of light is very different and there are obviously reflections and shadows.

Mustang on left, Camaro on right.

Well others were talking about the brightness of the yellow, I was playing off what they said. Anyway Chevy calls it Bright Yellow... Not Saturated Yellow

Paint names are just for sales purposes. What does Hyper Blue mean anyway? Or Mosaic Black? Just marketing. I don't deny this shade of yellow is bright on a brightness-darkness scale, but it ain't a rich, saturated yellow.

I had set my mind on gray, but I was really hoping GM has a darker gray available, it looks fine on the top picture, but the one on the lower is too light for my taste, I guess I'll have to wait to see it in person. Then again, I might just end up getting the black one, that SS looks means.

I'm wondering what color flake we'll see in the metallic black. I remember cyber grey really popping thanks to all the blue flake and I'm expecting something similar with this one. I would obviously go for the blue otherwise but I'm not sure I can do without the red interior.

Look up Cadillac black diamond tricoat and theres your mosaic black. The only colors the Lansing plant had to modified to run are red hot, yellow and white. That means all the other colors are renamed Cadillac colors.

Mosaic=black diamond tricoat
Hyper blue=vector blue metallic
Garnet red tintcoat=red obsession tintcoat
Silver ice=radiant silver metallic
Blue ray=blue velvet metallic
Nightfall grey=phantom grey metallic
Black=black raven

So there is no unseen new colors here for the 2016 Camaro.

Go to your local Caddy dealer and see if they have a phantom grey metallic ATS or CTS in stock to see nightfall grey in person.

After seeing the fifth GEN next to the sixth GEN in that one picture I am certain now that the fifth GEN still looks better

Gay? Well, I'm not sure if paint can have a sexual orientation. But if I had a sexual orientation toward paint colors, I would not date this paint. I think?

Sensitive? I cannot stomach how sensitive the world is to words these days. Everyone acts like they should be "kid-gloved". For some reason the multi-quote wasnt working, so I only quoted you, but I would have quoted the ding-dong below you too because his sensitive meter went off the charts too.
