Are we talking C7 or Camaro? For being a premium color the Camaro Synergy Green sold like hotcakes from everything I know. (Total sales: 4,465 units or ~5% of vehicles sold in 2011)

In fact, used Synergy Greens command a fairly high price here in the Chicagoland area despite being relatively common. The catch was that the color was a limited run from Chevy. If you missed out, you missed out.

The only "Synergy Green" Corvettes I know of were custom painted by their owners.

All really want is better paint, the black paint on my 2011 is so thin, soft, and prone to swirls its a real pain in the ass to take care of. I've had it detailed twice, by two different detailers and they both said how difficult it was to work on the soft paint.

I love that green on the fifth gen in the pics in previous post! It looked way better on the camaro than it did on the vette. Theres 2 blues 2 black 2 red. Maybe one of each of those wouldve been great with a green and an orange and one other different color.

Blue velvet metallic is a current color on the camaro, it replaced blue ray after the 2014 model year and will be carried over to the 6th gen

Ah, wasn't aware of that (obviously). Thanks for the info. I wish they would have some balls to do some more exciting colors. I'm not talking Synergy Green type. That color just looks cheesy to me. I'm talking something similar to Audis Merlin Purple or BMW's Fire Orange/Speed Green, etc...

It's not about balls, it's about available paint hoppers at the factory, and historical sales numbers/customer input. Frankly, I'm surprised they offered the bright blue. I love it, it looks amazing in person, and I sure hope it sells or it'll get pulled again.

I think the current color options offer a lot for everyone to choose from. Fact is, most people buy black, silver, white and red...there are two blacks, two reds, a white a silver, and a gray. The more vibrant/rare colors remain included for those who want them.

They buy those colors because that's mostly what car companies give us to choose from. You have to remember, it's not just older folks buying these cars. Most of the people I seeing driving these types of cars are young like myself (though at 34, I probably wouldn't be considered young to the teens, lol) and like crazy colors.

Offer more choice and they will buy them. Offer a REAL orange, not this orangey brown bullshit. You catch my drift.
