I found this document from GM in this forum that says:

Well, I would want a visible distinction between the V8s and V6s/I4Ts but I feel the hood vents are enough - or the horizontal vs. vertical running lights (or whatever they are). Personally, I think the grille grids on the SS are hideous and would probably look to change them out ASAP... maybe even swap to the V6 version if it could be a bolt-on exchange.

Yes, he also does turndown service. This is a video him learning the procedure. Don't expect a mint, he always eats them.
