100% agree.

I look at some of these concepts done by non-GM people and wonder why they didn't go more in these directions:

This one has a great profile, very aggressive, sharp crisp lines, muscular, and is still recognizable as a Camaro (the front & rear of this one were not good)

This one was VERY promising. Obviously it had to be toned down a bit. But it still looks like a Camaro.

This one is neat. Hadn't seen it before.

This one is freah & edgy, yet still looks like a Camaro

This one is really good. Has a lot of promise.

The one in the foreground has promise.

Do any of these concepts appeal to you?
Yes! Thank you. All of them in some way say Camaro in their looks, but in their own way. They don't look like the designer started with a 5th gen. The lone exception being that design by George Loizou.

I really like the edging behind and the 1/4 window, and below the whole set of side windows. This is a great design feature - I'm sure we will see more of these great lines that were hidden by camo, this car is going to be really nice looking. Anyone here who is disappointed by the lack of a radical change - well, my guess is you'll come around.

See, I think those all carry something over from the 5th gen.

To me, these are just exaggerated, more aggressive 5th gens.

I think the carry over happens to just about 99.9999% of all vehicles...would you agree? Rarely do we see a next generation that when placed next to previous, we wouldn't see the similarities.

ok...so the REAL QUESTION IS - WILL THERE BE GILLS?

GM has been doing a great job with the fronts of vehicles lately. It's the rear that I'm worried about.

Now, I think they've done a great job with the Flex (looks so cool) and the new Explorer. F150 doesn't do anything for me.

20 years is a definite I stretch I would say.. Not like Chevy had great looking cars 15 years ago either though.

I'd really have to look at each model and see what I think about it again, buy can't really think of many that were great designs.
This is the best looking Ford imo...sexy midsized suv. Ford Edge Sport....badass interior too.

It looks like a sleeker 2015, nothing revolutionary at all.

And for two years GM has stated "Evolutionary". Are folks expecting them to provide revolutionary after they stated evolutionary?

IMO, most buyers will see the car for the car that it is; they simply won't make any comparison to the previous gen and say "golly gee, it just isn't radical enough of a departure for me...i'm getting a Challenger (cuz it looks exactly like the original).

anyway, it's going to kick a$$ so why care what it looks like compared to any other car.

Someone on GMI brightened the teaser.
