Yep...spent most of the weekend outside and now I'm counting the days until we leave for the beach on the 21st. Can't get into the work thing this morning...

I would work longer hours in the winter just to have more days off in the summer. I know some businesses back east do a 9/80 work week during the summer month so they have every other Friday off, so long weekends at the beach.

Outer Banks, NC. We go to Hatteras Island (Avon) as frequently as possible. I would like to do the 9/80 schedule all the time, but it's hard with the job I have given the lack of engineers to provide support when I'm not here. Hopefully we'll be hiring soon and the load will be off...Of course here I am posting instead of working...

I have never been to the banks but my I know my girls from HS go every year. I am not a huge ocean person but I like sitting on the beach, in the sand, under and umbrella, and taking a nap. Now all I have is hot as fire and sand. Never thought I would miss water so much.
