I got my first parking ticket in Houston... my meter still had 20 minutes on it. Every single car on the block--- all with full meters--- had a ticket... probably 30 or 40 cars.
$50 ticket... to fight it is a lengthy process requiring a minimum of three full days in court. Easier just to pay the thieves, and submit to gov't authority and abuse. You may sense, however, that I am still pissed. |
