I only had about 10 minutes to play it last night before I had to head out and I enjoyed it. From the little bit I played it was a cross between AOE Online/Fable/Spore. The videos seem to show much more depth than I was able to encounter in the first 10 minutes of playing.

Yup mine downloaded it through the night. I confirmed it this morning when I woke up. When I turned on the console it just applied it. You can double check to see if you have gotten it using these directions

I have mine set to power saver mode so it doesn't auto update at night.

Oh that's strange. It should have given the option to update when you signed into Live. Can you use any of the Live services?

Something i just read....Microsoft recommends that you do NOT have your X1 plugged into a Surge Protector. Apparently it has a built in one. Plugging it in to another can result in the X1 not pulling the recommended amount of power for operation...Weird huh?

Interesting. I have mine plugged into a power strip. Guess I will take it off from there and just plug it directly into the wall.

On a side note I finished Thief and overall I will say it was not a horrible game but still not good. I found myself mad at the game several times and found it lacked several basic components modern interfaces have. And to top it all off the ending sucked.

ack sorry to hear that man. I had my doubts about it, glad i held off. On
the other hand Shadows of Mordor and Watch Dogs look fantastic. It is gonna be a VERY expensive generation. Off the top of my head of games on my want list....

Watch Dogs, Destiny, Titanfall, Batman Arkham Knight, and Quantum Break are all on my list. Plan on pre-ordering both Destiny and Watch Dogs when I go to pick up Titanfall next week.

I've had it in a surge protector for two months and it's been fine...

mine is also on a surge protector. maybe i'll switch it, if I remember.

also, this is the first i'm hearing of Watch Dogs. What little research I did, it sounds interesting. I might pick it up.
