Honestly I'm pondering to see if I could get a 2JZ crammed in there. Which would make people

Though, no idea if that would work. And the fall back would be a built Katech LS3

The only Camaro I've seen have one was a '69 but they barely were running any boost and kept it at 530hp on pump gas. I'd be shooting for 800-900 on pump gas, which is very doable with a 2JZ.

And if you can get one to fit into a BRZ engine bay I'm sure one could be made to fit into ours.

But that is an inquiry I'll save til after my deployment since there is a shop in KC that has some experience building Supras. They'll think I'm crazy

Probably not if I engine swap it, these are all theoretical.

Reason I ask is because once you get a full cage, that's kinda the "point of no return". And after having been in a few cars with cages, they all would rattle the hell out of your teeth over potholes or uneven streets.

Oh I know, could trade for an SS and then tt that and be at that mark. But what's the fun in that?

After the military I would love to open my own garage with a buddy of mine, and having a car like this would be a good marker for the shop. But this is just me throwing out ideas, obviously if this were to happen it wouldn't happen over night but more like 8 years lol

True, been in one car that was full caged but this was a track beast (really was a jungle gym to get into it) and if I were to go full cage I wouldn't have it as such, the bars would be far enough out of the way.

Ultra stiff I have no problem with, right now anyways. But with age I know that changes.

Just looked up the RPM cage weight 55lbs not bad for a 6pt though

----

All theoretical as of now, lol no money for mods at the current time. Just got bored (snow day) I'm off to bed, have a good one all
