That car is no Chevelle. If anything, the Code 130R is more likely to be a Camaro, considering that the Camaro is shrinking on Alpha. That isn't a concept of the Camaro, though. It's really just a design study.

I certainty hope to all the car gods they don't use the 130R, and call it the Chevelle. I think a modernized 1970 version would be just fine. With a 540ci

I think it would be interesting to see a modern Chevelle but I hope to God it looks nothing like that rendering.

It can't be the Code 130r concept because that is a FRS fighter last I heard. It's too small to be a Chevelle.

Base it on a 69 or 70 but modernized and make it a beast.

Does the 130R use the Alpha platform? If so, the Camaro will look A LOT smaller.

They could build it on the LWB Alpha platform which is what the CTS uses.

I drove a 69 Chevelle for years, I pray that car is not what they model it after. You might as well stick the Chevelle badge on a Miata or something similar.

They need to create a full sized light weight car that is LARGE/OPEN on the inside like the old school cars instead of making the full sized OVERWEIGHT cars with compact sized interiors!

Now. You know why guys like me the older cars, the classics. If this is the fate of Chevy, hotroding is in big trouble. Kids today want push button starts and HUD and all that other crap that has nothing to do with hotroding. At least the 14 z28 doesn't have a lot of that unnessasary fluff ( to bad the tail lights are ugly) take out the power windows , ac and all that other extra weight have have a decent car. To bad you can't sign a waiver and delete the damm air bags too.
