Jalopnik leaked what the exterior would look like over a year ago, so it's not surprising that none of the official updates from GM have suggested a different design.
I'm pissed that the interior looks exactly the same, though. It's the one part of the Corvette that needed an overhaul the most and it looks like they didn't even try. |

So the front end of a Ferrari, Side Profile similar to the GT-R and the Taillights of a Camaro...

I like what I see. Finally a Corvette that looks futuristic!

Don't see how, it's not very good looking IMHO. The C6 looked better to me.

Everyone said the same thing about the C5 when the C6 was coming out...including me. But it didn't take long for the C6 to make the C5 look old and outdated, just as this one will likely do to the C6.

Matter of fact, after the C6 ZR1 just won over the 2013 SRT Viper in a Motor Trend comparison some people who had one on order canceled it. Thinking that if it can't beat the outgoing C6 ZR1 that it really won't have a chance against the C7 ZR1 whenever it arrives. And the same was said about the C6 when it debuted, and the C5 when it debuted. It's just part of Corvette debuts, not totally liked or on the fence at the beginning, but as time goes on appreciated much more.

This. That's how you update/modernize the Vette's rear without it looking like a cartoonish Transformer. And the dash, looks like something found in a GT-R or 370Z. Maybe that was the intent, but I don't like it. Where's the split ****pit theme Chevy's so obsessed with? Its most appropriate here. I think the new Viper interior looks better.
