ARK PERFORMANCE TO UNVEIL HYUNDAI GENESIS COUPE R-SPEC TRACK EDITION AT 2012 SEMA SHOW

Hyundai's High Performance R-Spec Platform Provides the Perfect Building Block for its Super Tuner Track Model

COSTA MESA, Calif., Sep. 24, 2012 – Hyundai is again teaming up with ARK Performance to create an ultra-high-performance track edition based on the Genesis Coupe R-Spec model. The ARK super-tuner track edition will debut with the Hyundai brand at the 2012 SEMA show. This special ARK model takes the new Genesis Coupe 3.8-liter, direct-injected engine to an impressive 395 horsepower at 6800 rpm, with axle-flexing torque of 340 lb.-ft. at 5400 rpm. From the exterior, the ARK design theme takes the muscular character lines of the Genesis Coupe to the extreme, with race-like flared over-fenders, an aggressive front splitter, and carbon-fiber hood with heat-extractor vents.

I saw this somewhere else a few weeks back. Pretty cool.

Do you guys plan to do any performance testing like 1/4 mile or some kind of track data?

Cool render, cant wait to see it in person at SEMA? Are you guys outsourcing your carbon fiber work or is it done in house?

I'm not too sure if this one will see any track time.
But we do have another build that is specifically for the track.
It's a 2010-2012 model Genesis Coupe 3.8 stroked to 4.2l and single turbocharged, we should have it up and running very soon.
