One is permanent, the other isn't. Bedliners tend to slide a bit and wear through the paint. If you haul rocks and gravel, get a Bedliner. If you haul lighter stuff, get a spray in.

Your bed will still dent up with sprayed in. I prefer to just use a rubber Matt.

Get LineX. Very tough, durable spray in liner.

LineX is where it's at.

I'd recommend gmfullsize.com for this question though.

What does the dealer want to charge you? Depending on the price you might want to get quotes from an authorized Line-X dealer and an authorized Rhino Liner dealer.

I have had Rhino Liner in my 04 Dodge Cummins since I bought it in 05. It has held up freaking great and fading has been minimal. Last year I taped everything off and resprayed the whole bed myself with Dupli-Color Bed Armor. It only took one can and gave it a nice fresh look. IMO spray in is the only way to go. Mats and plastic drop ins keep water trapped underneath and dirt gets underneath scratching up the bed floor. Optioning for color match is terrible IMO. Go with the classic black. Whomever does the job for you, ensure that they know what the heck they are doing and that the prep work is done properly. That is key to longevity.

I would go with a drop in unless you want to have problems in the future. In some states (and coming soon as a Federal law near you if EPA has it's way) all pickup beds with spray in liners will have to be disposed in an "environmentally friendly way". What this means is all beds with oil based spray in liners will need to be separated from the vehicle when eventually junked. What this means is expense to the owner. Expense to you in the form of lower resale as this expense is figured into vehicle lifecycle costs as used buyers won't want the future liability. Don't forget extra expense to insurance companies on totaled vehicles which means, more expense to you to insure. Since nobody to my knowledge has figured out a way to produce a durable, water based spray in liner, these laws will eventually spell doom for the spray in industry.
