If y'all haven't seen it, recommend watching restrepo. It was basically a unit in the army given a shitwhack of GoPro's during their 2007 deployment, as well as the photojournalist who was with them. It has no commentary, just footage of their lives on patrol. Very cool shit

That's a pretty long shot. I wouldn't say the best ever made. Prolly the best of the year, but not the best ever. What would John J. Rambo say about this comment? Lol!

At least in this one I probably won't spend much of the movie laughing at weapon handling mistakes (like I usually do). I hate that. It distracts me from enjoying the story.

See, I get caught up in the logical fallacies, acting, and dialogue. I am very critical of movies, especially cheesy ones. Avatar made me want to throw up, even more so when I was walking out of the theater listening to everyone say, "BESTEST MOVIE EVARRRR!" I wouldn't bet on there being an absence of fireballs. They sell, especially in action movies.

Been there done that. I spent years waiting in a "special weapons facility" polishing my kit. The Kremlin didn't see fit to start nuttin' while I was on the job. (I scared them I guess)

My military experiece = highly trained, highly bored so this movie will probably have more action during the credits than I did during my entire enlistment (not that I'm complaining...).

These movies are pure fantasy for me. I get to play "what if".
