Could be worse you could take $2,800 dollars in hail damage like I did.
Any opinion is their own. And that's fine. I like a bra. We travel a lot with our Camaro. It has saved us a lot of damage..lesson learned by the first time we traveled without one. MAJOR rock damage on the font bumper in which he had to fix. He was NOT pleased. We all have one because we all travel together long distances.
Do you think I care what other's would say? Nope, because in the end....our Camaro isn't getting damaged again.

I have lucked out and not worked during the major storms we had this summer. The one day we had a very bad storm go through which ripped trees from the roots I was in vacation in Las Vegas but the same time I was scared because my camaro was parked outside at the dealership for 2 weeks while the heater core was being replaced:(

Exactly its not for everyone. My Camaro rarely gets out more than once a week, and it never goes on a rural road. I guess that's the advantage of having a daily driver for all the rough stuff. Either way smoothed everything out, so we're all good.

Me and luck with storms don't go hand in hand. I was recently even in a fog storm a couple weeks back, how the hell does that happen without a big body of water?

Yes, I drove mine for a year as my daily driver. Then the game changed with my 60,000 plus mile-a-year job. Suffice to say my Camaro is rapidly becoming a garage queen. It even has its own house now.

Yes and I hate snow also. In the winter I can drive 2 hours to see and drive back thankfully.

You are DEFINATLEY in the wrong spot at the wrong time:( I had really bad luck when I was about 20 years old to about 23 years old. I bought my first new car 2003 Pontiac 30th Anniversary Silver GT1 Edition. I laugh because I still have the window sticker $19,000 you can't even get a loaded Chevy Cruize for that price now Well I got in the end of April. In August I got rear ended at a gas station. it only had about 4,000 miles okay. About a year later I was coming home from shopping out of town. My mom was like I see something on the road. Then burning rubber. I hit a two by four took a big chunk of of my sidewall and just bent my rim to hell So another year passes I was on the way to the self service car wash was going to park it for the winter. I had it all tricked out like my camaro ground effects you name it. I got cut off by a chevy beretta $2500 damage the guy had no valid license or car insurance. Fixed it up and sold it within a week. Then I picked up a brand new 2006 G6 GTP coupe well with about 7,000 miles on her I was stuck in a traffic jam due to road work. A gir in a Saturn rear ended me

All of his Camaro's were never winter driven. It would kill them knowing our winters! We even dread it knowing it's coming ! :(

For me Dust Storm sand blasts and vandals forced my hand on the Camaro house:
