Holy crap! I was NOT expecting this.

You should contact radio stations that play similar music to see if they will air it & see what the listeners think. They may just want a CD or something. Just because 1 station doesn't like it, or you get a few bad reviews, it doesn't mean your music sucks. I'm sure you know that, but it would be awesome for you guys to make it big! Make a list of places & just start calling. You guys definitely have talent. Good luck!

Thank a lot man! umm well we just had this recorded like a day ago.. so its fresh out the studio. We only have one true rock station here in San Antonio and i wouldn't know whats the first thing to do. But ima try to contact that one radio station and i'll let you know what happens!

It's pretty difficult to get radio play without a radio tracker, but it's possible. I would suggest looking up the radio station that you think would be best suited and emailing either the dj's or the programming manager. Your best bet is to actually see if there is a radio show dedicated to requests, or local music. We have a station in Regina called The Wolf and every friday night they have a show called Grindhouse. It's based on requests and they like to play local artists on it. We sent them some of our stuff and had all our facebook and myspace fans request it, and now they play us pretty much every week haha.

It is VERY easy to get your stuff on iTunes though. It costs a little bit of money but not alot, and you can make it back if people buy the song. You will also get suggested on the "genious" or whatever they call it with similar artists to people. That helps spread it out, and you never know who's listening. I would definitely do that if I were you.
