I wish more people would see it that way. Some are downright religious zealots about it, on both sides. Regardless of which side you're on, according to "the other side" owners, they don't have any facts and so on and so forth. That gets so tiring.
Rivalry is good as long as it's done above board without cheap shots. It is a GREAT time to own either a Mustang/Challenger/Camaro because fans of any or all are getting more of what they want. If you can't agree on that, then you have a crayon in your brain. __________________ I agree. This is my point. It is all supposed to be in fun, but some people get crazy about it. |

To me, these cars just show our country's desire to be great again. They absolutely dominate the competition in every aspect. You take 30k cars from any other country in the world and they will get raped by the camaro and mustang in every type of performance as well as quality.

One of my very good friends owns a 2010 GT500, he loves the car, he loves cars in general. Of course he thinks it's a better car than the SS, and the Chally. He also paid 20,000 more for it, and realizes that Chevrolet hasn't YET released an answer to ford's top level Mustant.
He is also one of the biggest voices of encouragement when discussing my future Camaro purchase. It's all in fun. |

I've owned a GT500 and I've owned an SS. I think they are both cars and the both have pros and cons and it comes down to what is more important to the buyer. For me the Camaro was better than the 07 GT500 I had because the interior made it more livable as a DD (including the stereo
 ). With the advent of the 11 GT500... I think it might flip back the other way. Now, that's my 2 cents and I don't fault anyone for buying either of the cars.It's your money, buy what makes you happy. When you lose a race, you lose. When you win, you win. Don't make excuses just say good game and move on. None of this stuff is static. The cars are always changing and improving. So, let's all just tip our hats to the improving performance and quality of these wonderful cars.

If I had the money I would have a BADASS GT500 and SRT8 Challenger sitting right next to my SS... Love'em all. They all come from the same background as the Camaro and are all awesome rides!

this particular forum section says "other cars" so what's is wrong with other brand owners posting here? Most of the threads I have read, Camaro owners are doing the attacking. I have a Camaro but I don't get defensive when a GT500 fact is stated, it is faster than a Camaro SS....Camaro SS owners get defensive and go on the attack. Appearance is subjective.
