For what it's worth, by now I've got some experience autocrossing with my 2022 1LE, and yes, with PTM all-off it does turn in really well on applying gas at corner exits, so it looks likely that they've put in the autocross calibration from the factory.
That said, so far I tend to get the same or better times, and with better consistency, with PTM in Race mode, where is still has the traction control on. I still have a hard time controlling the throttle with PTM off. The car feels more fun and easily dancing with PTM off but the times are a few tenths better in Race mode. The most ridiculous case is when I went to a club with a very small lot and first-gear courses, and my best clean time there was when I forgot to do any settings at all, ran in touring mode as-is (the best time with PTM off was 0.1 s quicker but with a cone). |

I spoke to a service advisor at my local chevy dealer and they said they can do the elsd calibration for my 22 SS 1LE. They will charge $650 and they said they will need to keep my car for 2 days. Is this normal? Also is there a way to know the Calibration was actually completed?
