Intake needs

What all is needed to install LT2 intake? I assume it has o rings, not paper gaskets. Vacuum fitting. What have you used?
Covers that may fit?
Fuel rail covers?
Are any adapters needed to hook up TB with a CAI already installed? K&N.
Any wiring extensions or adapters needed?

The bolt ons that I may do I want to be easily removed so I do not void warranty if needed.
Thanks

Buy it from GPI, for $70 extra or so they provide the brake booster adapter and shaving to fit the fuel pump. Gaskets you can reuse the ones from your lt1 or get new ones. It will connect to your cai just fine, I have a rotofab. You’ll also need a map extension harness. For covers, the only true plug n play option is the corvette lt2 cover. Fuel rail covers you’ll have to do some modifications to get them to fit.

Will GPI porting package be beneficial on the LT2?

Currently on the GPI ported lt2 set up, I’m running the Katech adapter and an lt5 tb but the stock tb will bolt right up to it other than that it should be the booster vac fitting and map extension

I was surprised at how flexible/fragile the intake manifold gaskets on our engine are and would recommend a new set when changing the IM. Fortunately
Amazon has a set at a very good price- https://www.amazon.com/Dtomi-Manifol...zcF9hdGY&psc=1
Have fun and don't over-tighten p47dman!

Given that the gaskets are fragile, HARD PASS on an Amazon set from CHINA to save money.

Your money, your car so get what you want.

I just purchased an OE set from Summit today.

Are you planning on running that Mamo ported TB with the LT2 intake or going with a bigger TB/LT2 combo?

Can you install an LT2 intake without a tune and get HP gains? If so, how much?

Yes, have Mamo installed onLT1 intake already. Are the o rings the same between the 2 manifolds?

Summit states they are the same

So the plan is to run a CAI, Mamo v3 TB and a LT2 intake with the stock tune? I am curious to see how that combo turns out.

I went a little different route with a Mamo TB/Intake combo since I wanted to keep the stock look and tune for warranty purposes. Going to do the swap when I get some free time in the week or so hopefully.

Keep us posted p47dman!
