Mid muffler delete

I’m about to get a Borla ATAK installed on my 2019 2SS and I’m considering also getting a mid muffler delete and replacing them with dynomax race bullets. Would this setup be too loud? Does anyone have any experience or videos of this setup?

Loud is relative you your own preference. I don't have a mid muffler at all and think my car is just right. Are you keeping the cats?

Also those mid mufflers are secondary cats

Ah thanks for the clarification. Yes I was planning on keeping the first set of cats and just deleting the secondaries. I don’t it to be unbearably loud since I daily drive the car but stock is much too quiet for me

Deleting the secondaries is only a slight increase of noise level. If you're deleting, I wouldn't replace them with anything. It would be totally defeating the purpose IMO.
Not sure how you planned on deleting them. The Borla doesn't get rid of secondaries anymore so you'd either have to mix match a different company Xpipe with Borla, find an older used one for sale or do custom work. What did you have in mind?

I have an axle back Borla ATAK I was going to install. For the cat delete I was going to weld in dynomax race bullets as a replacement

Sounds like you already have your mind made up. IMO total waste of money and time replacing the secondaries with mufflers. Welding in straight pipes instead should be the answer.

With the ATAKs, or any cat backs for that matter, they will make a decent noise increase. ATAKs sound great by themselves. Getting mid pipes wont really change the noise level, atleast not to justify the hassle and cost. That being said, adding long tubes will be where you see the noise level greatly increase. More so if you delete the cats. Imo, LTs, cat delete and the ATAK is just WAY to loud.

I originally went with s-types and was 2nd guessing myself if I should have went atak...but then I went Lts and cat delete and SO glad I kept the types. Either way, imo, its a waste of time and money to delete the secondary cats.
