Smile Car seat recommendations

Wondering if anyone has had their little one in the back seat of a 6th gen SS 1LE. My little girl is almost way too big for her infant seat. I’ve been using the infant seat to take her in the Camaro. It’s not my daily driver. I’m looking for car seat recommendations for toddlers. She’s about to be one. My husband takes his 5th gen out when we take my car out so having a passenger isn’t a problem.

Older photo since my toddler turns 4 in three months, but we had the Graco SlimFit 3-1. Passenger seat had to be slid forward a bit, but could still seat someone. If forward facing, there should be plenty of space. I did keep the back of my rear seat delete on which did add a little bit more room.

In the end, it was always a bit of a pain to get the baby in and out the car, as i had to slide the seat forward to get in, or bend awkwardly to buckle her. Plus the dark interior with no window visibility would lead her to getting scared at times, even with the starlight headliner installed. I bought a third SUV just to have some more flexibility, and I turned the Camaro into a time attack menace.

My 3 year old rides up front in the passenger seat. His booster sits on the outer edges of the seat bottom so it never turns on the airbag.

Since you have a rear seat delete how did you keep the graco in place? Did you use the anchors?

Let me clarify. The Shrader rear seat delete is basically two parts: the bottom bench and the back piece. I kept the car’s bottom bench in since it gave me access to the anchors for the car seat. The back is what was taken out and replaced with the rear seat delete.
