People Suck

I was giving the SS a much-needed winter detail yesterday and when I got to the nose noticed the sides of my plate were sticking up. On further inspection it looks like someone grabbed the plate with both hands and bent the edges up. I do have anti-tamper screws on the plates, but they weren't damaged at all, so my guess is it was purely malice and not attempted theft.

Keep in mind, I am in Minnesota and temps have been barely up to freezing over the last 2 months and I drive it very little, as a matter of fact, I'm hard pressed to think of where it might have happened. I live just south of Minneapolis, yes that Minneapolis. I hate this place.

On the bright side, while taking the plate off I noticed that the plate bracket is removable, car looks much better without it. However, whoever the original owner had do the PPF did not adhere the film in a strip behind the bracket. I'm going to call them and hopefully they'll replace that piece under warranty.

I agree with you. The worst part of people is that they exist. Why should you have something nice when they can't...

Maybe they hate lakes? Yep, they're everywhere.

Had a buddy with a 70 Mustang and he spent countless hours making dive planes and front lip out of fiberglass and some A hole walked by and kicked it and broke it. People can be idiots.

Years ago I had a new Trans Am GTA.. Someone decided they wanted the gold GTA emblem off the front facia and proceeded to pry it up..It didn't come off {big fasteners on the back} but it completely bent/ruined it.. I've learned to park away from any potential issues with any of my vehicles..
Speaking of car shows and days gone by... I had mirrors under a car displaying the undercarriage and some guy kicked and smashed one by getting WAY too close to the display.. And it wasn't a spectator it was a participant... lol...
