You're sure making it sounds like a tempting upgrade! I do feel like there is a bit of a lag in the throttle, like you said, mainly with manual rev matching. Getting rid of that sounds pretty sweet! |

I had the same problem with the plug. I figured out after I broke the tab that, unlike most GM plugs, you don't slid the tab outward. You're supposed to slide it toward the plug body. Like you said, it seems to hold pretty tight. Glad you got it done. I agree with everything you said about the improved performance. Very pleased.

Started taking the wheels off and cleaning/inspecting. Drivers side done. Also ceramic coated the calipers and wheels.

Installed the JXB Performance Driveshaft Center Support Bearing Carrier. Decided to go with the track bushing for a little more firmness. Easy to do with the right tools and a noticeable feel and sound. Worth it IMO

I just spent hours/whole day using iron remover by carpro and an apc to clean the rust from the pads off the drums. hosed em down, then applied a ceramic coating (carpro D quartz). Very happy with my application and removal. Did two applications on front and back on all 4 wheels. followed up with arpro reload to give them that extra shine. noticed they were still holding up from last summer so the new carport d quartz is my upgrade from quartz UK 3.0 and dlux. dlux was a pain and I wouldn't recommend it.

Have you noticed less vibration and can you feel less play?

Definitely less play. With the BMR differential bushings and the JXB driveshaft carrier the car feels more responsive, with the pedal having no hesitation and better connected to the rest of the car.
The short drive I did resulted in no increased vibration (the cars so stiff I couldn’t tell if it had), but it did result in a nice “purr.” Not obnoxious or from a potential problem, but rather sound that complements the car. If I can record the sound I’ll post it on my journal thread.

How difficult is the install? Did you have to lower or remove the exhaust?
