any one use Camaro ZL1 Scrape Armor Splitter Protector

or something like this to help protect the splitter? Have a driveway that almost always touches part of the splitter.

Thank Mark

This is much cheaper and 100% effective, its sacrificial design has already saved my splitter several times.

I dailied a 1LE and ZL1 and put one scrape on it in 6 years. (not counting when I wrecked the ZL1). Point being its not necessary if you're careful.

It isn't necessarily caused by a bad parking maneuver, some driveways make it almost inevitable with cars that sit lower. Road irregularities can cause a splitter hit as well, you can't always slow down to 5 mph to avoid it.

We don't know his exact circumstances, so I'd reserve judgment on whether or not protection is necessary even if he's careful.

Yeah my driveway hits the splitter at times-just looked at my splitter and bought it new but looks like a zl1 add on which would have come from the factory with.
