Boosted LT1 Rebuild

I recently pulled my motor apart to upgrade heads/combating lower than normal boost numbers. After the heads came off noticed cylinder 1 scorn. tore entire motor down and not other damage to any other parts. Bearing all look good all other cylinders have normal wear, crank and connecting rods are good.

So, the question is would anyone go with resleeving, new block which will still need bore and hone. Was already forged before. New seals and pistons are getting done no matter what.
So go 4.07 again or 4.125 if sleeves and adjusting whatever else will be needed.

was making over 1k but was adjusting fuel system setup at the time this all happened.

Depends on your combo. If your blower is already out of steam increasing engine size will lower boost and make peak HP sooner. If your boost number is higher than you want it to be on your compressor map then getting your boost number down may be a good idea.

I have not heard good things about the SMG aux pump. Did your fuel pressure dip at all? Any knock retard? What plugs & gap? Losing a piston on full E is always puzzling.

Also, I’d ditch the meth (or reduce the volume some) if you can run full E. It’s displacing air in the intake & engine, and uneven distribution can be a problem on a non-direct port setup. Just my 2 cents.

The blower psi dipped when i moved from Dallas to Charlotte, along with this came removing the meth. Since removing meth all the issues started happening when i was converting to full on e.

Smg aux pump is a band aid to the the twin 400lph intake pump. My SMG pump is a 350 with a simple hobbs boost switch. Pressure seems to stay around 70 psi since thats what my regulator is set to.
Port system seems to fire when need be but that begs the question of is it firing the right amount of fuel which is where my tuning has gone wonky. Tuner "doesn't see issues", but i do believe they weren't looking at the port tuning.

i was around 21-22 psi on my d1x at 1014hp on e55 before adding the port system. When the car last ran i was seeing only 14. couldn't find any boost leaks. compression was arounf 165-170 on all cylinders. no coolant leaks.

i think the unevenness of the meth could be the reason cylinder one has more wear than the rest. plugs all look good they are the suggested plugs from when i got my kit(they get changed every few months.) gap is 18 or so on them.
