Fore triple pump losing fuel pressure
Was on the dyno this past weekend working on some pulley changes, noticed on the first pull that it started to go lean around 5900 so we luckily saw it and ended the pull early. Car is setup running full e85 currently and has been running like this for about 2 years now. Fuel pressure at 5900 was 63 psi and then by 6100 has fallen to 44 psi. Power at 5900 had just surpassed 975 wheel hp and should have continued to climb but it did not.
I emailed Fore and havent heard back from them yet. Has anyone ran one of their triple pump systems and had a pump failure? Id love to diag if one of the pumps is dead or going out before I decide to drop the tank. Was considering taking the power and ground wires out of hte FC3 controller and turning the car to the on postion and then applying power from the battery directly to each pump one at a time while logging and seeing if the fuel pressure was close across all 3 or if i had one that was not working at all. Would love to know if anyone else had tried to trouble shoot one of these systems and if so what things I can attmept. I may just end up dropping the tank regardless.

I think you’re on the right track. I’d guess pump #2 or #3 is dead so you just have to feed the controller power to each of those pumps, one at a time. Should be able to tell quickly if one is dead. Either that or your fuel filter is clogged up or something like that. Something that is choking flow at high volumes but let’s enough through to let your drive around normally. But I’d bet more on a pump dying.

I'm a dealer for Fore and my shop installed (I'm semi retired now) these units on Coyote/Camaro/Corvettes. I number one reason for failure in any aftermarket pump is not keeping enough fuel in the tank. The fuel keeps the pumps cool. The other reason is when customers would dead head the pumps and not run a return line. Using a power probe it's super easy to check each individual pump. If you don't have a power probe, get one. You won't regret it.

checked all 3 pumps they are all functioning correctly. Called CSP who built the car originally and discussed with them they stated when they were using fore systems (they no longer suggest or use them for their builds) that they were using holley hydramat in the the tank to the pumps to allow you to run the fuel level lower, we came up with the conclusion that I should probably drop the tank and check the hydramat to see if its full of debris/crap from e85. Also changing out the fore fuel filter to a larger fuel filter from aeromotive that has more flow and filtering surface.

When I ran their triple pump setup and running E, after about 3 years I started having lean issues with low fuel pressure on my WOT runs. After conferring with Fore, this is an exact cut-and-paste quote:
"I don't think you're doing too bad with pump life, considering you've had those pumps for a long time...as we recommend annual replacement when running them in E85! (regardless of mileage)."Soooo, I swapped all three pumps out with Hellcats. Wahlah - issue gone. I'm wasn't entirely thrilled with what they told me.

I'm in the process (after getting my car back from hail damage) in having my car tuned with the Atlas and DSX dual fuel pump setup on my car. Will I in be in the same situation (keeping tank at 1/4 tank) as the OP to keep things functioning as they should or is his situation completely different. Don't mean to hijack just feel like this is a similar situation. I also plan on running a fuel additive for E to help keep things functioning.
