Help,

18 ZLE M6 here. Real bad bog down on launch, just when trying to get from get go and mash the pedal, car nearly stalls now. Did not have that bad of bog down before. If I drive slowly and mash, no problems. Just from launch. Tried multiple times with different rpms, same result in competition mode. When in touring mode, no problem, just wheel spin. Car has o2 cel coming and going. forgot the code, bank 2 from fat to lean or something like that.

Did you check connections to mass air flow sensor? Is this after a recent filled up, even from a gas station that you haven't used before. More detail of how it was running before this issue would help, and anything you remember changing or adding or happening right prior to it acting like this?

Does it have aftermarket exhaust?

OP you were talking about oiled engine air filters and alternate (rotofab) intakes a while back. What state of modification is your car in now?

P013C bank 2 sensor 2 slow response rich to lean?

Don't see how a bad downstream sensor alone would severely affect drivability. Sounds like there are more yet undiscovered problems. If the car doesn't like air, then suspect a fuel issue. But I could see a MAF taking a dump if it got filter oil on it.

I’ll check it out. I haven’t tried launching at all since last year. Was mostly cruising. I use same gas station only most of the time. I tried mashing on touring mode and just some wheel spin and no bog down. Then for fun tried putting in competition mode while in track, car just choking badly on launch until it gets moving.

I started to put it on and just went back to stock. Will do just a drop in. I did unplug maf but of course with battery disconnected too. Even tho cel is gone right now, I scanned it and it is P015D. Been coming on for a year. Had it at the dealer. But because I would delete it before they said can’t find anything wrong. So I left it alone and it has been coming and going now on its own. If I mash in touring, no problem. I did in track and completion mode it just falls on its face and nearly stalls.

Ahh okay P015D is delayed response lean to rich on the primary sensor ahead of the cat, so yeah if it's bad or there's an intermittent wiring fault on that circuit (loose pin, iffy ground, etc.) it could affect drivability.

My understanding of Track mode is that it was programmed to prevent wheel spin, because loss of traction is bad on the track for obvious reasons. My personal experience is that Sport allows much more rear wheel spin than Tour, and Track less than Tour in my A10. I would expect Sport to be likewise more forgiving of launch traction loss on the m6 1LE as well? I know my A10 vert is pretty much an orange compared to the M6 1LE apple.

Curious what tires and what ambient temps is all this happening at?

Yes, track mode is more aggressive. I was launching last year and had typical small bog down like all M6s do. Now it just flat out terrible. It was like trying to get going while driving a moped in Syria. I got PS4S tires that are nearly new and it was 23C yesterday.
