Not required, but based on data logging before and after the install it's clear the car will make more power with a tune adjustment after the lid install.

Well it showed up sooner than expected. Now I can't decide whether to color fill the ZL1 with gloss black or just leave it. Originally my thought was going to be gloss black w/o a doubt

Car goes in next month for round two of mods. Kong X-port, 103mm TB, upper and lower pulleys, DSX Aux pump, and re-tuned. I was gonna put it on now but I think I might just wait until then since the blower has to come back off to ship to Kong. I don't want to mess up the powder coating putting it on and taking it back off in a few weeks.

Thats awesome... great timing on doing the Xport, now that he is porting the hot side of the blower also.... I get mine back tomorrow!!! Super excited!

I get my Jokerz full tilt ported blower, and get to install my 30+ XDI injectors that I've been wanting to install for a while now as well. Should be an interesting new set of mods to supplement the rest of my build.

Hey buddy, just shipped a LID to Erik @ Florida High Performance so this one could be added to his LID TEST 2.0. Sounds like the video should be out in a few weeks. I ended up taking my car apart before I could get it to the dyno, so it will be a while still for me.

Remember, Although most of them do make more power, and help alot more sweet blower whine escape, they don't make much more power. I think LID's in general should be viewed as a cosmetic upgrade.

That said, super excited to see how the old and new lids perform on a higher HP car! I think the taller lids will help

There are a ton of threads here on the forums debating lid hp gains.....the short of it is, gains are negligible and supercharger whine is louder, the lid referenced in this thread is higher than the stock lid, so if you have port injection you may want to look elsewhere...
