What is she Worth?
Hey Guys. Need some help. Looking sell my mistress.
What value would you give her? Its a 23- 2SS in Rapid Blue. - Loaded without the sun roof Miles : 2771 <today> Aftermarket Upgrades : Full Front PPF + Side Rockers, Side Skits and lower rear bumper. Ceramic Paint Protection SS 1LE Satin Black Rims GM- Sport Pedals + Dead Pedal Full Ceramic Window Tint including front 30% all around GM - Performance Air Intake with valid CARB Cert BORLA NPP Catback Exhaust w/ Satin Black Tips GM - SS Embroidered Floor Mats Dioad Dynamic Black side markers Custom Textured Satin Black Rally Stripes (on top of the PPF) -I have all the original parts that have been switched from the original build except for the stock suitcase NPP exhaust (kept the SS exhaust tips). -Original rims and tires are protected in their own tire bags with felt faces. -Still has primary Cats and NO aftermarket tune has been performed. -There's nothing close to this in California to get a decent comparison. The only comp I could find is in NE but it doesn't have the 6 piston brembos or magride. How I upgraded it - she has everything the 2SS 1LE has except the 3.91 differential which makes mine lighter. If someone wanted the 1LE track diff its around $1500 installed by GM w/GM parts. She's been garaged you can eat off the engine and undercarriage. Camaro's in true MINT condition. Also any suggestions on where to sell? I'm hesitant to sell locally. Camaro theft is up over 2024 numbers already which was +1000% over 2023. |

Odd to me, that nobody has replied to this!
First, I love your car! It reminds me of the 2003 Azure Blue Mach 1 that I bought new, in 2003. I had planned on keeping that car forever, but got blindsided by a divorce and had to sell it. With that said, you can probably discern that I'm an older-fart. Second, I've been searching for a newer 2SS automatic for awhile now. Here are my thoughts. I f#(k&g HATE FB marketplace. I see cars that are listed on AutoTrader at dealerships, relisted on there for more money. Most of the sellers seem slimey. Craigslist seems DEAD. I still check it periodically, but rarely see any individuals selling on there. It cost $5 to post on there now, but you'll get to buyers like me. Autotrader is mainly dealers now, but there are some individuals. I check there nearly daily, to see if anything interesting was posted. Cars.com is free, so no reason to NOT post there. I'd post it on the classifieds here as well. But then I have a "WTB" thread and nobody has replied to it :-/ If there are other places to buy/sell for individuals, I'd like to know! I'd rather buy from an individual than a dealer, but giving up hope. As for pricing, that's tough. Super low-miles and obviously well cared for - that is worth something. But dealers were selling for about 10% below sticker in '24 (when I was looking), and the car is older and has less warranty remaining. So maybe 47 or 48k if all stock? Mods... some people may love them, others may not. If you can get 50% of what you paid for mods, then I think you are doing good. The "right" buyer might pay 50 for it, but it may take awhile to find them. At 46-47 you'd have a better chance of selling it quicker. At 43 I'd fly out there and buy it this Friday :-) Good luck my friend. I hate that you need to sell, I it was right was 20 years ago when I sold my Mach 1, and that memory still hurts me. Hope you find a great home for it. Edit: After thinking about your car overnight, I could actually go a little higher than my offer above. vcxzrewq at yahoo dot .... if you want to discuss Last edited by DynoLee; 03-05-2025 at 06:36 PM. |

He created two versions of this thread. The other one garnered comments, wherein we told him he can't expect to get most of the money back (on resale) that he poured into GM-added options and the aftermarket additions. That thread seems to have disappeared. But I see his account has been suspended, so perhaps that has something to do with it.
Very pretty car, but also too high on resale expectation. |

Yep, I went and looked for that other thread as well because I didn't realize this was the same OP. Couldn't find it and was really frustrated.
