I received and installed mine, and it's great. I love the little attention to detail with what I believe is the replacement almost-wall-anchor-nut that's for the OEM plastic push-pin. KUDOS. Even if I got that wrong, you got the immediate shipping right, and I received it right away.

Thanks for the great customer service!

I have to wait a couple months due to a broken wrist, but once I'm healed and able to drive again (manual), I'll definitely be picking one up as well!

That'll be closer to when it'll be getting pretty hot in your area, too, I imagine.

Thanks for the quick feedback and kind words. I am happy to hear you like it. I had a crappy home built one on my cars for like 6 months, so even I was happy to finally have a proper looking and much more rigid version on my car.

Just ordered one. Interested to test it out. I’m sure going from having the rain guard on to this bracket should definitely show a cooling difference.

Straight forward as can be. Only thing I would recommend is include replacement bolts for four along the back of the hood so everything matches.

Thats a good idea... I just did that today on mine also... I also filed the un-used holes in the hood with some plastic plugs... do you want me to send you some more hardware?

Aftermarket Hood (Anderson Composites)

I just bought and installed this bracket, but have an aftermarket hood. The quality and instructions are amazing, including telling installers that if it doesn't look how it does in the picture, "sell your tools and stop working on your car" which is definitely the best joke ever as they offer you to contact for additional help. But I am posting to let users know that if you have an aftermarket hood, most likely you will not have to drill AT ALL. The hood should already have a threaded hole where the OEM does not in which you would have to drill for the included threaded piece that the bracket comes with for an OEM hood.

This may be evident to most people, but just wanted to post it here for reference as well. I have the OEM looking Anderson Composite carbon Fiber hood for a ZL1 and it just bolts right up with no drilling and is a perfect fit whether I use the OEM bolts or the supplied bolts.

Thank you Griffin Motorsports for a great product.
