I had not seen this. Really enjoyed it, and I hope GM is smarter than I think they are, and brings another Camaro to us, that’s worthy of the nameplate.

Get rid of that woman running GM, who has an obsession with EV's, that no one outside of California wants and maybe we'll get another ICE Camaro.

Honestly, considering how cost and time intensive it is to develop another Camaro generation, just give us a Gen6 Version2 (Gen6.2). The Alpha chassis is still relevant and competitive. First thing they could do is develop a Z/28 to create buzz on the return of the Camaro. I'd be fine if the Gen6.2 is the same body, maybe another refresh.

She is another left wing nut that is trying to ruin the company.

Couldn’t agree more. What you described is exactly what Ford did with the new generation of Mustang. Only thing I’ll add is I want more power as I feel that’s what it needs to continue laying the smack down on cars that cost more than it. This can easily be solved by slightly modifying the LT2 to fit and work in a non mid engine car. Take the LT1 block and oiling system, throw the LT2 intake, heads and cam which should all bolt up (intake will take very slight modification) and bam you got 485 HP in the next gen Camaro. Use the existing Camaro manifolds which is why I’d rate it 10HP lower than the LT2 in the vette.

I really enjoyed the video but I get really tired of those reviewers that have to show they can drift the car. I'd much rather see how fast they can lap it or quarter mile it.

I know what you mean. Hooning around does it a disservice because it kind of says you don't take the handling seriously or you don't expect much of it so you put on a show.

I also didn't like that they complained about the brakes getting easily overwhelmed. I track my 1LE regularly and the OEM pads do not get easily overwhelmed. And while it does tend toward understeer, you can largely neutralize that with trail braking.

But hey, at least they finally did a review of it and praised it for being awesome!

I think this is more about viewership. Every Chris Harris video also includes drifting... one of the few ways to depict speed and well, it does look cool and gets your attention.

Some YT reviewers don't fully appreciate its track prowess. But IMO, SG does a good job showcasing both its ability and fun. That's important since there are cars out there that may be quick but are otherwise sterile and effectively a video game IRL.

Lastly, agree on brakes. My guess is it was stock fluid. Jack drivers harder than many and the owner might not have even known the issue existed until Jack started to wring it out.
