I agree with the others that neither looks bad or wrong. Personally, I prefer the satin look on almost everything - on my car's aero, any carbon fiber bits I put on cars or bikes. To me, satin looks more refined. Glossy can sometimes look a little cheap to me, especially on carbon fiber where it can appear a little too much like plastic.
