One big question, do you miss the manual transmission? You probably need some time after the honeymoon and driving it more to figure that out.
Thanks. So far I'm loving the C8. The interior is really nice. And I really like the way it drives. It doesn't have the same kick in the pants of the ZL1, but it really puts the power down. It's deceptively quick. It's also very polished.

So far I haven't missed the manual. Although I have another option there with my 2003 350Z. I took it for a drive this morning.

Yes, prices of C8s are really good right now so it's a good time to purchase one. Especially given the current values of ZL1s.

Thanks. That's true.

I added a Stingray R graphics kit to the C8 last weekend. I like how it turned out.

Thanks for the input. It has been awhile since I drove a C8. I agree the car is definitely more up to date and a nicer interior and looks exotic. It was a very compliant driving experience and comfortable. It put down the power smoothly in a uneventfully display. Not like the ZL1 which can be pretty aggressive and some times caution is in order. I still wish a manual transmission was an option.

I do vaguely remember it was harder getting in and out of the C8 compared to the ZL1. The side sills at the rocker panels below the doors stuck out farther and it is lower. What I don't remember is if the blind spots and rear viewing was better or worse than the Camaro.

Thanks for the feedback.

The C8 is slightly harder to get in and out of than the Camaro. As you stated the side sills in the C8 are are wider. The seating position in both is low. The front and side visibility in the C8 is much better than the Camaro, but the Camaro has slightly better rear visibility. I like the side mirrors on the Camaro better too. They are easier to use. The C8 mirrors are kind of oddly shaped. My C8 also has the high wing option which further impairs rear visibility. At least it has the rear view HD camera like the ZL1 so you don't have to look through the wing.

Thanks for the information. I should drive my friends more to see if this is an option at this time. I am not sure I am ready to make the plunge though. I finally got the ZL1 sorted out for my liking.

Enjoy the new ride.
