Belt slip issue...................
Had an issue with belt slip as you can see in the 2 screenshots posted. You can see the dip in the boost in the first picture. They don't make the green belts in the size I needed so I was using just the standard gates belt. I also tried the drayco belt but has the same issue. I noticed that there was more than 1/2 travel on the tensioner pulley. The next size down was too small so I had to find a belt the same size that didn't have as much play. This goodyear belt is nice and tight barely any travel in the tensioner now. Its been on there for about a 3 weeks so lets see how well it holds up.
Just another option for those if you can't get a greenbelt in your size. Side note this is a 6 rib setup with the factory box setup procharger.

I just concluded that I can't use the 2.625 pulley because the belt was slipping even with a DSX idler bracket and I based that solely on lower absolute manifold pressure than that of my 2.75 pulley, not my any huge fluctuation in the MAP PID like yours. On the other hand, although mine has minor fluctuations in map, the RPM curve looks like corduroy. It's just a long series of up and down movements in RPMs all the way to the shift point, not good

Better off going larger on the crank pulley rather than smaller on the blower pulley IMO.

You're probably right buddy. For some reason I've been trying to hang on to this 9.17 that Hennessy put on there 4 and 1/2 years ago and it's outlived it's useful life so I'm going to put a larger bottom pulley on it like a 475 or something. Whatever gets me to 25,000 at 7, 000 with a 2.75 or 3-in upper
